The St. Charles Outreach Coalition Against Human Trafficking (SCCAT)

– operates out of the Bakhita Center on the campus of the Sisters of the Most Precious Blood in O’Fallon, MO.  The mission of this coalition is to raise awareness about human trafficking by providing information, networking opportunities and community resources.  The goal of SCCAT is to break the chains of modern day slavery in partnership with schools, religious groups, businesses and community-based organizations.  See www.stcharlescoalition.com

Dignity Network

– a group of service providers, advocates and survivors that promotes a restorative approach to addressing commerical sex, including both human trafficking and prostitution, through support, education and advocacy.

Human Trafficking Rescue Project  (HTRP)

– launched by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Missouri this project was established in in 2006 to combat Human Trafficking, a top priority of the office.  The federal task force is comprised of federal, state and local law enforcement agencies.  It also partners with non-government organizations to provide necessary services for victims.
