Anti-Trafficking Committee

– The Anti-Trafficking committee is a coalition of community organizations in Clinton, Iowa.  These include the Sisters of St. Francis, the Franciscan Peace Center, members of the clergy, law enforcement, health personnel, county attorney’s office, social workers, and others interested in working to end human trafficking.  The focus of this coalition is to educate and train the public about Human Trafficking as well as to educate in preventive measures and advocate with legislators.

Sisters and Brothers Collaborating Against Trafficking – is an ecumenical group in the Cedar Rapids area that focuses on bringing about awareness of Human Trafficking to the public and on prevention strategies.  The group meets at Mount Mercy University and work with MBA students from that university.

Braking Traffik’s mission is to support and enable the discovery and response to incidents of sex trafficking through a victim-centered, multi-disciplinary and collaborative community effort in the Quad City area of Iowa and Illinois.

The purpose of Siouxland Coalition Against Human Trafficking (SCAHT) is to work toward abolishing all forms of human trafficking through education, advocacy and collaboration. SCAHT intends to create a cultural change environment by educating and raising awareness about the presence and occurrence of human trafficking in Siouxland for the general public and direct contact with professionals: law enforcement, medical personnel, social workers, domestic abuse advocates, educators. 

SCAHT is a non-profit corporation and shall operate exclusively for educational, charitable, religious and scientific purposes within the meaning of Title 26 of the U.S. Code Section 501(c)(3). SCAHT includes Sioux City, IA, South Sioux City, NE; North Sioux City and Dakota Dunes, SD; and areas surrounding these communities.

Set Free Dubuque – exists to proclaim freedom for the captives by educating our community, advocating for survivors, and eliminating the demand for modern day slavery.  We host awareness/educational events and facilitate specialized training to front-line workers, churches, civic organizations, and other fields where identification of trafficking victims is necessary. We at Set Free are honored to come alongside individuals who have been trafficked and support them in their journey toward true freedom as they heal.
